After he eighty-sixed his Chinese restaurant 66, Jean-Georges Vongerichten remade the TriBeCa space into Matsugen and shifted the focus to Japanese Soba noodles. The infamous foie gras dumplings may be gone, but you can still drop big bucks on big ticket items like Wagyu steaks.

Events: Summer Sparklers
On July 26, head out to the Hamptons for the James Beard Foundation's annual Chefs & Champagne gala.
