The long-awaited new venture from Alain Ducasse, Adour Alain Ducasse, is scheduled to open in The St. Regis Hotel, New York, on January 28. In the meantime, expectant epicures can make reservations to dine in the modern space, which features wine-inspired hues and rich textures.

Events: All Around the Big Apple
From January 21-25 and January 28-February 1, more than 200 restaurants will take part in NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2008, offering three-course menus at dramatically reduced prices: $24 for lunch and $35 for dinner. Participating restaurants include A Voce, Craft, Eleven Madison Park, Fiamma and Le Cirque.
