News: South of the Border in Manhattan Beach
Shade Hotel owner Mike Zislis has brought upscale Mexican cuisine to Manhattan Beach with his newest venture, Mucho Ultima Mexicana. For the first few months, the restaurant will audition dishes for the regular menu, such as banana leaf-wrapped lamb shank with mole Poblano, red onion and pickled pepper salad and corn pudding.

Events: Prix Fixe for All
From January 27–February 1 and February 3–February 8, select Los Angeles restaurants will offer specially priced three-course menus as part of dineLA Restaurant Week. The prix fixe menus will be available in two categories: "deluxe" offers lunch for $15 and dinner for $25, while "premier" dining is priced at $22 for lunch and $34 for dinner. All' Angelo, Ciudad, Katsuya and Patina are just a few of the hot spots participating in this inaugural event.
