Although it doesn't open for dinner until January 7, Paperfish in Beverly Hills is now open for lunch on weekdays. The contemporary seafood restaurant, helmed by Joachim Splichal (Patina, Zucca Ristorante) and executive chef Yianni Koufodontis, features menu items including its namesake dish: baked fish wrapped in parchment paper with vegetables and herbs.

Events: Flavors of the Season
On December 24, Ocean & Vine restaurant at Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel will feature a four-course holiday tasting menu from chef Robert Trester. Menu options will include pomegranate-glazed Muscovy duck with shell bean ragout, smoked bacon, and spaghetti squash; and eggnog panacotta with cranberry port wine reduction and lemon poppy seed tuile for dessert.
