Callison's Fine Foods' Seasoned Skewers

We’ve found a cool ticket into the hot grilling scene with Seasoned Skewers from Callison's Fine Foods. Made from untreated Maine wood, these sticks are soaked in all-natural oils without salt or saturated fat, allowing you to flavor-infuse meat, poultry, seafood and vegetables from within for some guilt-free grilling (and eating). The sticks come in a pack of ten and are featured in nine different flavors, including Honey Bourbon, Hickory BBQ, Garlic Herb, and Thai Coconut Lime.

When we fired up the grill armed with our Seasoned Skewers and a platter of skirt steak kabobs and veggies, we found that marinating for longer than the box’s recommended wait time of fifteen minutes infused a stronger aroma and taste. In addition, we also discovered that everything tasted best when supplemented with a complimenting marinade. But overall, since we're sticklers for flavor, we think that this stick is definitely one to be savored.
